Before you do anything adverse, (12v disconnect or fuse pulling) let the truck sit for a few hours, you don't want to crash any systems with an untimely powerdown.

Would turning off auto updates be enough? Or still give it time you think?

So I ended up leaving it alone and did nothing for about 90 minutes and all was back to normal. This is concerning and I think is a software issue. Ford please fix! This is a real safety issue

If the 12"/15" screen is working, yes, I'd suspend scheduled installs, if any ad hoc installs were in process, waiting a period of time is safer than immediately pulling power.

Just had this issue happen to me.

‘24 Flash with 42,994 Mi.

Currently at the dealership waiting to see what the issue is. The screen is backlit with no data being displayed.

Powercycled the truck twice.

Did you try pulling fuse 13 in the passenger footwell? That fixed it for me and hasn't returned since.

Update:

When the tech came in to pull it in, it cleared. No DTC stored in the system. It’s been documented but it looks like it’s gone away.
