I’ve been leaving it parked outside down to 7-8 degrees for about 3 days now, instead of garaged at a different location. Driven it around town and took it this morning to the lake for a dog walk. When I came back home and parked at top of the driveway it went dark. Nothing! Waiting for tow truck to take it to dealership.

Thank you! That might have been it. I went a little off road on seriously bumpy ice this morning.

Trying to figure out how to get the Frunk open after pulling the material release inside the cabin. It pops up but don’t see a lever to pull or push up on. Tow truck driver almost here.

12v battery is likely dead. Plus you need to plug it in when it is cold. It will maintain the systems. It reminds you of this every time you put it in park below 30degrees. Electric vehicle ABC’s. Always Be Charging.

By now the HVB is 7-8 degrees so even if you are able to get it to come alive the power will be severely limited to protect the battery. At 25F HVB battery temp, power is 85% at 30F it is 93%. I can only imagine how low power will be at 7 probably around 50%. The only way to “fix” is to plug in precondition and warm everything up.

IIRC you pull the manual release strap a second time to release the primary / secondary hood latch

Hello! Could you privately message us with your VIN and the name and location of your Ford dealer so I can look into this concern for you? Thank you!

Unfortunately a great example of why people should a) read their manuals and b) download a PDF version from owner.ford.com to every device they own. Pulling twice is a known thing.

Loose cables.

It came to life. I was able to drive it to the dealership yesterday and it went dark again right after I parked it. The GSM said he would have someone look at it. The battery is healthy and it was loose cables.

I just charged it and it’s back home.
