I mean literally!
Something I have really noticed lately driving around and the exhaust fumes are just annoying now. I don’t know if it’s from driving in a vehicle that doesn’t stink like exhaust fumes or if it is the warmer weather we’ve had here lately and I’ve had my windows down more… but not that much more!
Maybe I am just a BEV snob now😂🤣😂

NGL that was one of the drivers for me to go electric. I walk my dog lots and whenever a truck goes by, you can smell the exhaust for a while. If it was just started and running rich, or one of the many "deleted" trucks around here with no emission controls, it's particularly bad. In winter you can smell it and see your breath for a long time after it goes by. And this is in a middle of nowhere rural area. Must be horrible in bigger cities.

I don't want to do that to other people.

I can’t stand ICE. The most recent trip I took I had to ride in one and it stank, it was noisy, there was always this constant hum / vibration. Every time I use my tractor, I end the day looking into the cost of a 40 kWh battery and a motor to run the hydraulic pump...

When I get behind a deleted diesel at a red light I roll the windows down. Sniiiffffffff...... AHHHHH. The smell of childhood growing up in rural Kentucky. I love it. It makes me think of those days doing hard work for a living and the pickup truck was the mule that got the job done.

I've been driving EV since 2018 and smelling exhaust fumes is annoying now. I put my hvac in recirc mode when a diesel is in front of me or I'm in a congested area. A-holes in Diesel trucks just love to blow fumes at EV's..maybe one day they'll get over it.

But also sound noise! Now I hear trucks 10 vehicles ahead of me because the Lightning is so quiet! The noise must have always been there, but I just didn’t hear it because my own ICE vehicle noise masked it out.

Recently drove my daughter's car from Seattle to California, it's ICE, man I didn't even realize how much gas stations stink! Every time I stopped to fill up it reminds me of how many benefits BEV have. No stinky winky.

I did have this same thought. Been driving EV for a while and now, about half of ICE cars, I can smell them - even ones with good emission controls. I'm not a tree hugger by any means, it's just something I noticed.

Yeah, same here. I’m not someone that is going to blast people for driving ICE. I mean I did until a little less than two years ago. It is just something I have REALLY noticed much more lately. I noticed it occasionally over the last couple years just the difference but now it just seems to be more prevalent so I thought maybe I was losing my mind or something. LOL

My biggest eye opener for ICE v battery was for my snow blower. The ICE snowblowers, especially the older ones, absolutely reek and my clothing would have to be left in the garage before I came back in. Now with my daily driver being BEV, I'm completely spoiled.

I’m not an ICE hater (unless you’re the guy driving that diesel pickup that wants spray black ash everywhere.). Frankly I feel bad for those folks that just haven’t given EVs a chance. I know what they are missing out on and they don’t seem to have a clue.
