Since yesterday my Lane Centering Assist and Blue Cruise stopped working.

I do not have any error message in the vehicle or in the app. I can use adaptive cruise, it will slow down if Vehicle are slowing down in from of me. It will detect lines on either sides and show orange if going over the line without flashing. But no proper steering assist or blue cruise.

I did do Sync 4 relaunch. Turn car off/on. Looked at all cameras and sensors if there was anything obstructing them. Nothing. And yes I still have an active subscription.

Anyone went through similar issue ? Any insights ?

Any chance there was an AT&T service outage in your area? I think (not 100% positive) that the car uses that network to address the mapped roads.

Maybe 🤷‍♂️?

I experienced a similar problem about 2-3 months ago. When I took it in to my dealer they determined that the “gateway modem” had stopped working. I brought the truck in and they spent a morning reprogramming the truck and got the gateway working again. A day or so later the problem occurred again. This time my service technician recommended that I disconnect the positive terminal of the 12 volt battery and leave it for 30 minutes. After doing that everything worked perfectly again. I have since made it a point to carry a 10mm wrench with me, and the problem has not occurred again.

Occasionally, there is a glitch in the matrix…

I had a failure with Lane Centering not working on a trip. It started working again after I removed a very small bug splat from the front windshield directly in front of forward camera.
I hope you are as lucky.

Are you wearing your seat belt? That's a known issue, er, feature.

Does anyone know what the 'mapping' of the roads does for BC? I find the regular lane centering plus adaptive cruise to work great (where there are actually lines on the roadside), and the only thing BC does for me is
1: not bother me every 15 seconds
2: let me change lanes

And when I'm on a highway that has BC available I find it drops out quite often, recently it dropped out when I was going around a slight bend in the highway just approaching a car in the adjacent lane and all of a sudden it's flashing red "take control" (or something like that). I'm glad I was actually paying attention or the truck might have veered towards that other car!

There is a lot of construction, but not where it dropped out. And I notice around the construction it will drop out partway through the construction and back in later in the construction zone. I can't believe they have mapped part of the construction swerve!

I can't imagine it's mapping construction as much as it's following the lines. I have 3 spots on I-280 on my daily commute that have been under construction for less than a year or even less than a couple months for one section, but there are major alterations to the normal flow of traffic. If I have BC on it follows the lines just fine.

So my point being, it's following lines. What does BC give me more than Lane Centering does?

Agreed. I just got my 90 day free trial renewal notice. I guess I have about a month to decide. I've heard rare instances of discounts. Maybe I'll wait until one is offered before jumping to pay a ton to keep it active.

@KDF150 Message me the VIN and I'll poke around to see if I see anything useful.

As mentioned, if your truck has the latest IPMA software, lane cnetering and BC will not work without have the seatbelt on.

Lane Centering drives me nuts. It keeps telling to keep my hands on the wheel when my hands have never left the wheel. I've yet to figure out how it senses hands??

It must feel a 'pull' (turn) to know you are there. I just slightly turn the wheel left or right every 15 seconds. I've heard that others put a 1# weight on one side of the wheel and it 'feels' them there.
