Range to me feels limitless, haven't ended up on the side of the road yet. But I do city driving 90% of the time and charge at home so this has fit the bill and met all expectations so far.

I took my first extended trip this past weekend with my XLT SR. Averaged 2.1 Miles per KWH. 540 miles. 60% of this was turnpike/freeway with the cruise control set at 76. The other 40% was rural US highways with an average speed about 60.

Averaging about 270 on Lariat ER living in mountains at 6200’, going over large grades and back. Around 290-308 sticking to around town.

Keep in mind that the range shown is a guess. It uses recent driving history and predicts. If overnight the temp drops to 40 degrees, that number will drop. Then, if the temp rises during the day to 70, and you check again, it will go up.

Best estimate of range is knowing your miles per kWh, and the size of your battery. I get 2.9 - 3.0 miles per kWh driving 75 on the highway with my Mach-E. 91 x 3 = 273 in warm weather. In winter, take off 30 - 40%.

IF, on the other hand, I only drive locally, I will get much more range, but I really don't pay attention to that because I don't need it. I've seen 3.5 miles per kWh.

Right now, I'm testing "intelligent range" on my Mach-E. Car says 225 at 90%, i.e. 250 at 100%. As I've just shown, that's inaccurate.

Lightning math works the same.
Just like Miles left to Empty on ICE 150's. No difference. It's interpreting data and adjusting Distance to Empty same way. The difference is of course their Gas Stations/Convenience stores Everywhere!

When you’re in 2-pedal the brake pedal just acts as regen “paddle” unless you are going really hard on your brake pedal. The physical brakes are rarely activated in typical driving. It actually probably gives you better control of the regen than in 1-pedal but i doubt there’s much difference in efficiency.

Trip calculator been on since I got it. About 2500 miles and it says I’m averaging 2.1m per kw. The guess o meter says I’m at 250 when at 100% on an ER battery. I drive mostly freeway at about 75mph. Am I getting the worst mileage on here lol?

You are probably not the worst. My GOM is 265 on 100 pct, mostly due to 65 mph state highway and many short trips of <5 mi.

same for me. 2100 miles, average 2.1mi/kWh. I get around 2.4-2.7 locally and about 1.8 on highways going 75-85. ER platinum and the range is about 250 @ 100% SoC

Mine seems to be between 2.3 and 2.4 depending on what percentage of hwy driving I'm doing. Last 500 miles, or so, have been 2.4. The previous 2000 were heavy on highway miles and it was at 2.3. It's been good weather so there's probably been minimal battery conditioning and HVAC. Us cold weather folks will be the ones with bad efficiency pretty soon. I'm sure some people will be down at 1.5mpk. Based on my previous EV experience I've seen about 25% lower efficiency in the winter, so I'll probably be in the 1.8 range.

Same for me. One of these days I'll try road tripping at 65 mph. If I can ever find the patience. I want to be able to get at least 275 miles on a full charge. That'll get me to my parent's house without charging.
