There's only one EA Charger anywhere near my house in Boston and it no longer is showing up on the FordPass App (even though it IS showing up on the EA app. and the charger is there and working and available.) I've removed all the filters and it still does not show up. Does anyone know where I "report" this so Ford fixes it?

Thanks for the suggestion. I did as you suggest via the app (Under the "Account" section, under the "Help" tile), chatting with a person (after a 15 minute wait "on hold".) They said that I need to phone a "FordPass Charging Network Specialist" at 800-392-3673, 8 AM to 8 PM Monday through Friday. Ford is so old fashioned, requiring us to use phone calls to get information.

Had a similar issue with a charger.

It showed at first but was busted junk for 6 months so it must have been removed, charger is now fixed but didn't show up on my last trip Sep 30, doesn't show up today. Can't trust Ford app, use plugshare.

Agree. But I want to access the charger to use the nearly 500 kWh credit I have. I understand I would need to use the FordPass App to use up the credit (vs. just going to the charger and charging.) Or am I wrong?

You can use the charger in multiple ways.

1) Via Plug and Charge.

2) By activating the charger via FordPass (make sure you haven't unselected Ford Network).

3) By activating the charger via Charge Assist (see truck menu).

Thanks for the note. Regading your suggestions:

1. Plug and Charge: I'm going to go by the location and try that. I think it's my only hope.
2. FordPass: I don't see how I can use FordPass because the location is not showing up in FordPass. (That's my original problem.)
3. Charge Assist: Someone else said that if you use Charge Assist in the truck, it will NOT use the credit (newly 500 kWh). My sole reason to go to an EA charge is to use up the credit. I have chargers at home and at our camp in Maine.

Am I wrong on any of the above?

I believe you are wrong on #3. It activates the charger from inside the truck, tied to how your Ford account is setup. So it will deplete hours first.

And Plug and Charge does the same.

Thanks for the advice on Charge Assist. I just tested it and the EA charger -- which is there and showing up on the EA App -- is not showing up on Charge Assist either.

This is no longer in Ford's app because, as indicated on PlugShare, "Beginning Monday, October 23, they will be removed and new ones installed".

They have been marked with a wrench on PlugShare, which means they get eliminated from the Ford software, as they are UNDER REPAIR.

ALWAYS LOOK UP EVERY POTENTAL CHARGER IN PLUGSHARE.

Also, PlugShare is crowd sourced. That means we/you/us should be logging in every charge we do. I do.

Rick, lesson learned. Thank You SO MUCH for the education. I thought I was safe looking at the EA site. Obviously I was wrong!! I'll always check PlugShare if I have ANY problem in the future.

ASIDE: The Ford CEO made an interesting comment after his recent Route 66 road trip: "EV owners don't have range anxiety; they have charge station anxiety."

Thank you again Rick
