Iconic Silver Metalic is the best (IMHO)!!
My silver metallic 23 Pro is two and a half years old and still regularly gets compliments from strangers. I chose the color to hide the dust and match the wheels.

My reason is a few fold, ever since I was a child growing up one of my favorite toys was my slot car track, I always fantasized about being able to be in that for real, fast forward 60 years and voila' it came to pass.

On the pro side of things I guess I'm just sick and tired of changing oil and belts and every other greasy grimy part of an ICE and it's maintenance. I do that enough at work. Passing gas stations is fun as well.

Also wanted something I could park at my parents house after a storm if they lose power, I have natural gas and a whole home gen, they don't and can't get nat gas piped to their home, this was the logical solution. I can recharge it as needed from my solar array.

Before anyone flips the OMG he's a tree hugging purple hair freak switch, lol, no. I just like being able to control my own electricity, don't like depending on anyone or thing. Comes from living in hurricane alley. My plan is to be suburban off grid and I'm almost there.
I'm rather fond of tree-hugging purple haired freaks. :)

Thanks.
No pain no gain? Ha.
Looks like it has lasted pretty well so good job.
Can't squeeze the truck in my garage, so thinking about something like that.
My only regret with that carport is the width, I went 12' wide, should have gone 14' wide so the doors don't hit fully open. I can still get in and out easily but yeah.

2025 Flash Ext range Last time I felt acceleration like this thing has, I was in the driver seat of a Ferrari, no exaggeration! Something this big and heavy shouldn't move that fast, lol but I love it!!!
You can't keep it. Someone is probably missing it. Call the pound, and then if nobody claims it, you can keep it ;)

Get it neutered too. I mean, you don't want it being a daddy truck to little lightnings.

Yes, good idea!
I can barely open my 2012 Leaf doors inside my garage - I lined the walls with 2 EVSEs (old GE WattStation for the Leaf and FCSP for the Lightning) on one side and shelves on the other.

Nature abhors a vacuum and stuff finds a way to fill it in garages.

Fact. Been trying to clear mine out so I can use it for some wood working. No luck, hard to fight mother nature.

Yes, I keep putting up backyard sheds but now they are all crowded with "Stuff" as George Carlin used to talk about, alas...not to mention my basement...I pity my kids having to clear it all out if and when I pass away...or maybe it's payback, lol?

Indeed. As a former Ferrari club member and car magazine staff, I love to point out that our ERs are about as quick 0-60 as the legendary Ferrari F40 and a *whole* lot cheaper...

Can't squeeze the truck in my garage, so thinking about something like that.
I had the same problem with my truck being too long and tall for my garage. I first popped out the rear wall 12", leaving the 6" stem wall in place and walling in the pop-out to just underneath the 16" eave- like a bay window. I supported my rafters with 2x4 kickers and put a 4x10 header across the 12 feet of the bearing wall. This gave me my depth. My door header was 3 inches too low with the 4x14 door header. I had a 3/8" webbing 4"x4"x16' beefy I-Beam that I used to replace the door header- giving me another 10" in height. It was supported by two 2x6 cripple studs on each side and, after welding the end tabs and drilling holes in the top web, I lagged it into the 2x6 king studs at the ends and top straps. I also inserted 2x4's screwed into the webs so I could put my siding back on. Cost was just a 2"x10"x12' beam and a few 2x4's as I reused the other materials, already owned the I-Beam, did everything myself with the exception of having a few friends help with the door beams. It looks beautiful and works beautifully.

Additionally, I used an old 2x6x10 from the old wall window header as a tire-stop bolted to the floor so I will never back into the rear wall and damage it or my truck which I back in to leave my charging port in the middle of the garage for cable access to the L-2 charger on my rear wall.

Hope this is of some use.
