I'm not too thrilled about how high the back end of the Lightening sits when not loaded. Has anyone heard of a lowering spring kit for this truck? It could stand to be 2" lower as I don't plan on putting huge loads in the bed.
No offense but even a basic Google search would've given you everything you needed to know. I have posted dozens of times on the subject. Bottom line the Belltech strut is a bad solution because it takes all the cushion out of the rear spring it makes the stock rear suspension extremely rigid and uncomfortable to drive. Furthermore it increases the camber far out of spec which looks terrible. Any lowering of this truck requires camber plates. Full stop.

if he truly wanted to look better and handle better, you are going to need a full suspension kit. I have the full icon kit and it has been great for me. After some trial and error I figured out the best settings both front and rear to lower the truck and make it look good and level without sacrificing payload or towing

Considering he posted that back in 22 when this breed of machine was still new, I'd be willing to bet google didn't know jack about it.

The details are everything.

Hey Guys, belltech part number 25001 is bolt on for the rear and gets 3" of drop. Everything works as per factory specs except on board scales. There's a ridetech air strut that bolts into the rear for a 6" max drop, which is what I switched to now. Front is basically any ICE f150 lowering strut.

Something weird is going on with that part #. Went to their website and it speaks of exactly what you speak of and the pic shows it to be an actual strut but then goes on to state it fits all older model years like my other truck that's a 2013 and it most definitely does not have any suspension altering properties as it's a solid rear axle and uses a regular old shock, lol. whiskey tango foxtrot
