No offense but even a basic Google search would've given you everything you needed to know. I have posted dozens of times on the subject. Bottom line the Belltech strut is a bad solution because it takes all the cushion out of the rear spring it makes the stock rear suspension extremely rigid and uncomfortable to drive. Furthermore it increases the camber far out of spec which looks terrible. Any lowering of this truck requires camber plates. Full stop.I'm not too thrilled about how high the back end of the Lightening sits when not loaded. Has anyone heard of a lowering spring kit for this truck? It could stand to be 2" lower as I don't plan on putting huge loads in the bed.
if he truly wanted to look better and handle better, you are going to need a full suspension kit. I have the full icon kit and it has been great for me. After some trial and error I figured out the best settings both front and rear to lower the truck and make it look good and level without sacrificing payload or towing
