Map Update

THere has been a Map Update sent out. Server side and APIM. Its really hard to know if you got it other than looking at your settings

APIM Is not known yet. Seems to be I didnt get the APIM update only server side. 2025 has NA 17. So i am not sure if the APIM is actually getting a new map package or they are only updating server side.

My Wifes Mach E is showing updated server also.

Maybe some of you that have the ability to see network traffic can see if your truck has consumed 12Gb or so recently.

SOme will only see a server side which is the overlay..

If you dont have the connected nav active these wont show and will revert to stored maps. Stored maps wont be updated without the connected nav package.

THe internal maps will update if youre lucky.. you wont see any kind of notification of an OTA or map update. You will notice streets not there before are there now.

22-23 and 25 may have different internal map versions but they should all go to NA 15 if the map update installed and the server side should be the same across the board.

I dont really know because there is no way to know if you got it.

My 21 ICE truck got the Map update close to Christmas. THey have different maps.. Telenav

Garmin is what EV AND any car with the Portrait screen like the Ranger uses.

No, that will require an APIM software update that allows that. This is strictly maps

Not all get the APIM download.. as long as the server side is updated that is what youll see.

APIM download is for when you dont have connectivity. Otherwise youre pretty much always using server side maps.

It came with one of the recent updates. It allows you to switch between phones quickly. I guess it could be handy on a road trip.

It definitely is. Especially when traveling with a 17-year old
