Hey all. Not sure if this has come up. But I recently have been greeted by mice inside my frunk covering all my belongings in some lovely poop and pee. Turns out they are getting in through the 12v battery cover. There is a piece of foam at the bottom and its not enough to keep them out. There is no food in my frunk just some cloth cases they can chew on. Just a warning for anyone that hasn’t come across this yet.

I think this might be more common than people think. I've heard of / seen cats seek shelter in vehicles because they're warm or provide shelter. From the Mices perspective your frunk is an awesome home impervious to rain and predators lol.

I am in a rural area and I have had them in the Frunk and by the Air intake into the cab. I have a peppermint oil soaked terry cloth in the the battery cover slot. Seems to be working at keeping them out. I also have a rag in my tonneau covered bed. Seems to be working. Critters also seem to like being on the top of the battery between the cab and the bed. Nice warm spot in the winter while it is charging.

You will want to do something to prevent, repel, stop them from getting in and chewing up your wires!

My cats sleep up in the wheel well and somewhere in a frame cavity that I can't see....I have never had a mouse problem in my truck. Plenty of dead presents around it though.

if I was a mouse, the Frunk would be one of the best places I've ever stayed!

Soy based and "renewable" materials throughout the truck....of course rodents are going to prefer it. I'm surprised they haven't started chewing on the "ActiveX" seats yet.
