The truck should be smart enough to keep the fans going after it's shut off to prevent this from happening in the first place.
Yeah the issue is with these trucks they are built like ICE vehicles with the on/off button. Teslas turn off and on when they want, so they are able to dry out the coils before shutting down later automatically.

Even still I don't see why they couldn't pop up a notice when you press it and have it say the truck will stay on for another couple minutes to dry off the AC and then shut down.

Get some Lysol spray and put the ac on recirculation, max fan speed and shoot a spray up under the passenger side dash behind the glove box where the fan intake is.

Give it s good 5 second burst and let the truck run a while.

Now switch to fresh air intake and spray the cowl at the bottom of the passenger side windshield for another 5 second burst and let it run.

Once that's done, replace the cabin air filter and you should be good to go for a while.

Repeat as needed. This method worked great on my older truck.

23 Lariat, maybe?

Not so fast, my friend! This is a well known issue for them too. Has been a thing in our 18 M3 and 22 MY. Totally agree this shouldn’t be at all and should be a OTA fix.

I need some help.
I was doing my quarterly Kool It spray in the AC drain and the footlong hose disconnected from the bottle and shot up into the drain.
I tried sucking it out with a shop vac. I tried making a hook on the end of a footlong piece of wire. It looks like the hose is caught on a ledge about one inch side the drain. See photo.

Any ideas on a way to get the hose out?

Nevermind. I was able to get it out with a hook I made out of an irrigation flag wire. Now I will duct tape the hose to the lid going forward.
