My heated steering wheel doesn't work until I shut the truck off and delete the departure time (if set)

I noticed that when I set up a departure time and the cabin to moderate temperature my heated steering wheel doesn't work until I shut the truck off and delete the departure time.

Anyone else having this issue?

It's a "feature".

You don't need to delete the preconditioning, but the truck does need to be shut down for 5-15 minutes after preconditioning has completed, (I have determined how long yet) but it always works after a normal cold start, or when you use remote start.
