Do have any location based charge control schemes?
If you do delete it, then try charging again.

1. Try a different EVSE, if you havenโ€™t already.
2. Provide us more info, such as light status on the EVSE and charge port.

Is it an actual J1772 or are you using an adapter? Fast charger adapters wonโ€™t work for L2 charging.

I get that problem once in a while, it usually is the charger needs rebooting, so unplug or circuit breaker off, wait a few seconds and turn it back on. At least my old Leviton J1772 charger resets.

There have been a few posts with that problem.

I believe it usually came down to a couple things assuming the J1772 EVSE is in working order:

chewed wires by rodents/squirrels or other wire or charge port damage - ie, bad charge port conection, corroded pins, etc.

I believe it turned out to be the AC-DC converter or the wiring for it - J1772 home chargers provide AC to the truck, it converts it to DC for the battery.

https://www.f150lightningforum.com/forum/threads/squirrel-chewed-through-charging-wires.24413/

12v battery weakness and control of the AC charging - the 12v battery is used to close the contactors and power the AC to DC converter used for AC (L2 EVSE) charging

wrong type or bad adapter when using other than J1772 or CCS1 type EVSE (plug)

That's all I recall about it, could be some issue not reported before, let us know on the thread when you figure it out.

Is it an actual J1772 or are you using an adapter? Fast charger adapters wonโ€™t work for L2 charging.
One simple way to narrow it down is to separate the charging path into three parts:

1. the J1772 EVSE itself
2. the truckโ€™s AC charging path
3. any adapter or connector in between

If the truck fast charges normally but wonโ€™t take AC through J1772, Iโ€™d first try a different known-good Level 2 J1772 station before assuming itโ€™s the truck. If it still fails on another J1772 source, then it starts looking more like an onboard AC charging issue, charge port pin issue, or contactor/control issue rather than a DC fast charging problem.

Also worth confirming whether this is direct J1772 or J1772 through any intermediate adapter, because that changes the troubleshooting path a lot.

I am having this problem too. Charging stopped working on my 120 v. at home. But I could charge on fast (Tesla Supercharger) so have been doing that. Just installed an Emporia Level 2 and am getting the steady amber ring on the truck after a brief blue light.

Get your truck into service, something is wrong with the truck if both the 120v and 240v EVSE aren't working.

I posted something similar -- a ground problem was suggested. My Nissan Leaf L1 120VAC charger works more reliably than the L1 Ford charger.
