PAAK no key detected after driving

I use PAAK exclusively on my samsung S24. For last 2 months I unlock doors, start truck, put in gear, then start to drive. About 1/2 time I get no key detected after driving for a min. Just a nuisance, hasn't affected being able to use truck. Might have been samsung update that started it, don't believe related to Ford OTA update IDK?

I've had that happen, not Samsung, not half the time. Doesn't seem to cause real problems, but I don't get it either.

I have an iPhone and had used PAAK for a year and half without significant issue until the last few months that is. I have totally given up on it and gone back to carrying the fob.

Totally eliminated the Key Not Detected and the failure to unlock on the handle touch. Don’t know what changed or exactly when but having the fob present has made the experience a whole lot smoother and enjoyable.

My truck did this twice last week. Also, “Restart now” when I got to a store to do some shopping. I came back out and it worked fine. Didn’t do it at all today when I took a drive. PAAK only. No fob.

Yeah I might have to start doing this too. 9 out of 10 times that I approach the truck and try the door handle nothing happens. I have to take the phone out of my pocket, unlock it, then open the FordPass app and THEN the truck wakes up and unlocks the door. iPhone 12.

I’ve had the same experience on my 23 Lariat ER. Back to carrying the fob.

My fob needs to be very close to the door for the door to unlock. Keeping it my back pocket doesn't work. Is this normal for the fob?
