Good morning to all

I have the Ford Lightning XLT, love the truck since my trips are all short so range is not an issue. However, I charge my golf battery up while not driving the truck and have not found a way for the Truck to continue charging the battery. I set "power onboard" to stay on but everytime I get in and check to see if the outlet is working, it has been turned off. The truck has 85% SOC so this is well above the levels to turn off the outlet in the rear.

Any suggestion how to keep the outlet on or is this even a capability?

Cheers!

Is your truck running? It needs to be running in order for outlets to be powered.

If you are not drawing enough power it will always shutoff. There is a minimum draw required.

@earlyadopt - you need to update your Account Details and add Model Year to your Vehicle list. If 22-23 then also specify SR or ER on your XLT.

Or add a signature - see mine for instructions.

Do you have the 30 minute shutdown timer turned on? It defaults to on with each startup cycle. But even if you have the timer off then I think PPO will turn off if PPO isn't drawing enough power, as others have said.

2024 model year guys, I noticed a message that after restart the truck, it defaults back to the outlets shutting off. Not sure if it can be changed

Are you referring to the draw on power from the battery charge for my golf cart?
