Received today as well. My truck had WAL from about a year ago when the dealer updated some things. Now I have no WAL and no sliders/buttons in the menus to enable it. Ugh

I had modules updated for another issue, it enabled walk away lock weeks ago

I was excited at first but not being able to disable it at home has been a nightmare.

Got this update today and was relieved… except the damn option to turn it off isn’t showing in the menu.

How hard can this be??

I know I can forscan but I don’t want to.

Got this update last night as well. I already had the WAL toggle setting enabled via FORscan from a few months ago. I tried enabling it this morning and it still automatically revert back to disabled.

Received this update overnight, no settings available under the LOCK menu to enable or disable walkaway lock, not a forscan or fdrs 'tweaker'

Wouldn't be the first or the last time I see an OTA disable something it's supposed to enable. You can fix it with FORScan.

It doesn’t work. When I click enable, it goes back to disable after a few seconds

That's because you still need the BCM updated. Same thing is happening with people getting the APIM update that adds the toggles for lane change and the other BC 1.4 features, but they don't have the update for the IPMA to allow them to actually work.

Got this update on my 22 lariat yesterday however there is no toggle and it doesn’t work. Thanks ford! What a joke, i assume i need a bcm update from reading above. I have an idea, how about send the bcm update first!?
The software experience on this lightning is similar to my windows phone back in the early 2000s

@RiqRod borrowed one of my Mongoose cables yesterday to update his truck. Coincidentally, Ford sent him this APIM update yesterday while he was updating other modules on his truck. He didn't get the toggles for WAL on his touchscreen, either. I plugged into his truck to make some other FORScan changes just a little while ago, and for whatever reason, I brain-farted and it didn't occur to me to add the toggle to the APIM, and I was in his APIM making other changes. I even mentioned this thread to him.

WAL is still working for him, though.
