Rear turn light flickering when truck is off

Hi,

I just recognized that although the car is switched off the right rear turn light is flickering. While driving it seems to function normal.
Did anybody already experience the same and what would be a fix?

sure? the car did not tell about any updates and it supposed to do that over night

I meanwhile assume it is a bad ground. The SoC of the 12V battery went down to 38% within 2-3 days.
Potentially the winter weather and snow/ice + salt on the road could be the reason.
Where should I look for corrosion or cable damages? Any known neuralgic spots?

If you are under warranty, I would take it into the dealer. Seeing that you are in Germany, I presume that you purchased a truck designed/modified for the EU as opposed to being a member of US forces in Germany.

The truck is a import from US. Warranty will be difficult therefore unless it is a official recall.
Already was searching for some wiring diagrams but didn´t found them.

Does anybody have a wiring diagram? There are a few cables and connectors in the back. Meanwhile the right turn light is permanently on. With the car on it is not changing. Right remains on, left one is also not functioning properly - only weak.

Was waiting for a more professional response, but here goes.

Get a test light or analog volt meter.
Remove the light and unplug harness.
Truck state off, assuming the problem occurs while off.
On the truck side harness, check all pins for voltage. Start with negative side touching a bolt or frame point, probe the pins, give it a few seconds to check intermittency.
Report back results and if positive, pin number.

Thx all! I finally found the issue. To have the car compliant to the European market the signal to the turn lights had to be spliced and the rear lights adjusted. Additionally 2 micro relays had been added. And guess what - one of the relays is damaged and reason for the issues.

But that is just the symptom. The root cause for the problem is water under the passenger side carpet
Now I need to find out where it was coming from.
After research potential reasons could be:
- leaking water from the cabin ventilation on the back side - seems not to be the case
- issue with some gap under the windshield - can only be evaluated after removing the windshield
- issue with the water drainage of the sunroof - still need to check from where to where water can flow
- air condition drain - the most probable cause
