Anyone have instructions removing the fugly front license bracket? The screws don’t appear to be accessible from the frunk.

Bah! I’m tool illiterate. Won’t there be a piece that drops down into the “engine bay” when drilled out? Those are aluminum rivets. You will need to drill them out-pretty easy. Watch a YouTube video if you've never done it before.
Yep and if it gets caught up in the timing chain or sucked into the intake you're hosed!!Bah! I’m tool illiterate. Won’t there be a piece that drops down into the “engine bay” when drilled out?
Was there any need to get in behind the rivet or did you do everything from the front?Just did this a few weeks ago.
It was a pain because although I drilled through the hole, they didn’t break off and instead started to spin with the bit.
I had to dremel the head down to make parallel flat surfaces, use some vice grips, and then hold them while I drilled.
i then had to use some plugs to fill the hole.
overall a pain in The butt

As far as I could manage, wasn’t able to do anything with the back side. Was there any need to get in behind the rivet or did you do everything from the front?
Ohio doesn't require front plates anymore. And if you buy new, most dealers don't install the front plate holder unless asked to. I live in Michigan and have bought my vehicles from an Ohio dealer since 1999 and have never had a front plate holder installed.Front license plates should be illegal. When I was shopping for my wife's Odyssey I immediately rules out vehicles from Illinois and Ohio because they had holes drilled in the bumper. It's maddening.
I was looking at used cars. Maybe the Ohio cars didn't have the front license plate bracket (or holes) but a lot of cars did. I ended up buying an Indiana car that never had a front plate.Ohio doesn't require front plates anymore. And if you buy new, most dealers don't install the front plate holder unless asked to. Well after an hour of drilling, grinding and finally going crazy with the cable cutters, I was able to get that monstrosity off the number. We’re did you get the rubber plugs?Front license plates should be illegal.
