SSM 51805 Fix: Trip info not resetting

Ford has released a software update for the instrument panel to correct the issues with the trip meter not resetting per a new Special Service Message this morning. Good Luck!

SSM 51805. It applies to 2022 and 2023 Lightnings only.

I have had an IPC update available for a week or so in FDRS. I am not sure if the SSM released today is a further update to the already existing OTA floating around, that I have yet to receive, that added the SOC to the cluster. The good thing is since it is a SSM your dealer should do it under warranty if you are experiencing the concern. It should fall under 3yr/36k miles warranty. There should be no excuses for not getting it done.

I had an issue several months ago with the truck's range indicator not going back to 'regular' truck-only calculations, sticking instead on the 'while towing' range... it was very strange, and no fiddling with the 'towing' settings or deleting the 'camper' trailer settings would solve it. FORD also could not tell me why.
