No, N on the dial is still neutral.
M/L is the override/bypass that allows you to remain in neutral, while you open the door, without the truck automatically shifting to park.

I bought the "L" version Bronco Shifter so I could explain it to my wife as a "neutral Lock". I don't think there is a functional difference between the M/L versions, they both achieve the same thing.

I'm still far more partial to the column shift myself, but I'm so glad to see that these sorts of mods work so well. It's great to see plug and play options.

Yeah, I'd say console < rotary in console < (rotary on dash | column shifter)

I'd prefer to have the window wiper controls on the stalk on the right of the column, but since they're not there, then having the shifter there is is a good option and probably makes the most sense for space savings everywhere else. I'd be down with a factory rotary on the dash as well. I know there's a post for a mod here where somebody added the rotary to the dash themselves. It looks great, but not something I want to tackle right now myself.

The beauty of this mod is the fact that it can be done without any permanent mods to the truck, fit and finish looks great, and it adds functionality with the fold-out work surface and additional cup holder/storage space that it unlocks.

That was a great deal...but it seems too much time has passed since that posting in March (and the hype from Lightning and ice F150s modders has only increased since then).

If anyone needs one of these printed, feel free to reach out to me via PM. I'm going to do a run of the ones with the Nalgene bottle holder in PETG on my Bambu Lab H2D until I run through my four filament spools. I'll post a picture once I get the first one cranked out so folks can see how they look. I'm not looking to get rich here, but the extra few bucks would help me in adding a second H2D to the print farm I would like to build, which I currently mainly use for STEM projects for my kids and their school classes.

These models are all out there as a result of a non-commercial design. Please consider supporting the creators (yes, that includes me, but that's not really my point here, haha [and TY for those that were kind enough to tip me through thingiverse!]).

I've not taken a stance on people printing them for others, but I just hope those that did the heavy lifting of creating the designs are getting some compensation as well. Their kids might like an H2D too, haha.
