Ford Promise I am still waiting for my free charger from Ford it’s been over 10 weeks now since I bought my truck anyone else having difficulties getting what was PROMISED from Ford? Its a shame the Flash is awesome.

Make sure that they did not give you cash credit for it when you purchased your truck. That was my situation (and I was not told that). When I called them a week or two later, they told me that they gave me $2K credit for it rather than the Charge Station Pro. That worked fine for me. I ended up buying the FCSP and I am quite capable of installing it. Had I thought about it, I would have bought a different EVSE as I don't ever expect to buy the Home Integration System, and with a 24 I can't charge more than 48 amps anyway. Could have spent half as much money and gotten any number of other EVSEs. Oh well, my mistake...

It took me nearly three months to get mine. After the dealer ignored me for most of that time, it turned out that they had never sent the info to Ford for the coupon so I could order it for free from their website. Once they finally did that, the rest of the process went reasonably well. I did have to reject a quote from the first local company that Qmerit had used because they wanted over $1,000 for the “free” install. And the second vendor had to delay the install when their technician had a family emergency (and I guess they didn’t have a second one who could do the work.)

Thanks for your reply I think I am in the same position the dealership said they submitted it and Ford says they didn’t receive it.

No they only offered a $500 rebate at the time and I refused it they had to redo the paperwork.

Only $500 rebate sounds like the Ford Mobile Power Cord cost, they must have been confused maybe? Did you get one of those FMPCs to use in the mean time (I assume you did hopefully).

BTW, I bought my FCSP for $600 new in box on eBay with shipping, but then there is install costs to consider.

They changed the program. If you don’t take the charger and installation then you only get $500 Bonus Cash.

Nice. I see when they extended it on Oct 1, it went back to $2000. But when OP bought their truck, it was $500 and set to expire Sep 30.

The original promise was $2000 but they gradually lowered it as they extended it.
