No they’re saying that a 30a charger should be on a 40a circuit per code.

I’m fine, thanks. A branch circuit for powering an EVSE is to be sized at 125% of the EVSE max current. It can be used on a 40 or 50A circuit. See NEC article 625.

Looks to me like a screenshot from the FordPass app, the AC Charge rate setting. The vehicle can limit the charge rate, not dependent on the charger.

Yep that works for your 2025 Flash. However not every year of the Lightning has the ability to change the AC charge rate. So just didn’t want to assume.??

Yep Ford pass. Adjustable from 5a-48a.

This is so good. They are pretty fast with getting the charger and getting things schedule. Mines getting installed next week.

Good call. Nice feature for the 25 model year (only). You can go up to 24A on a 30A circuit.

"Technically" the onboard charger in the truck is reducing the current flow on the MY25+ Lightnings.
