So you're saying I can't charge my truck with the cable they included to charge it with? Are you OK?No. A 30A EVSE cannot be safely used continuously on a 30A circuit.

No they’re saying that a 30a charger should be on a 40a circuit per code.So you're saying I can't charge my truck with the cable they included to charge it with? Are you OK?
I’m fine, thanks. A branch circuit for powering an EVSE is to be sized at 125% of the EVSE max current. It can be used on a 40 or 50A circuit. See NEC article 625.So you're saying I can't charge my truck with the cable they included to charge it with? Are you OK?
Perhaps one can just turn the charge rate down ehh?No they’re saying that a 30a charger should be on a 40a circuit per code.

Looks to me like a screenshot from the FordPass app, the AC Charge rate setting. The vehicle can limit the charge rate, not dependent on the charger. What is this screen shot of? Looks like FordPass, what version?
the FMC is not adjustable, though third party EVSE might be ..... but the FMC is not!
Yep that works for your 2025 Flash. However not every year of the Lightning has the ability to change the AC charge rate. So just didn’t want to assume.??Perhaps one can just turn the charge rate down ehh?

That's a nice enhancement for MY25, us older MY's can't do that on the same version of Fordpass!Yep Ford pass. Adjustable from 5a-48a.
Perhaps it's new for the 25 ym?

Good call. Nice feature for the 25 model year (only). You can go up to 24A on a 30A circuit.Perhaps one can just turn the charge rate down ehh?

Yes, you can use this to turn down your charger. It is a new feature on the 2025s so most folks here have never seen that screen.Perhaps one can just turn the charge rate down ehh?
