Full disclosure. I test drove it, and if you haven’t - you’re not ready; and that’s the bottom line. It is truly the most incredible, throughout, easy to turn (fly by wire and four wheel steering) vehicle (truck and car) I have ever driven. When I got out, my only thought was — what the fuck just happened? So read all hate on internet that you want. It is the most fascinating piece of technology on wheels. That said, I’m not much for politics and driving a political lightning (pun intended) rod is not for me. Maybe when things settle and my truck is out of warranty, I’ll consider it again unless our friends at ford consider another full sized electric sled.
When they finally move all that sweet new tech to a car that doesn't look like total shit, I will consider it. Maybe.

I like the graphics, especially if they're reflective. Everyone has their own style, and if that's yours, enjoy! Ultimately, if it makes you happy, that's all that counts!

IIRC, Mr. Farley showed interest in much of the tech in the Stainless Musk Ox. Since most of it probably isn't patentable, the good stuff may show up in the next generation of Ford EVs. Hopefully those won't be held up for too many more years by political shenanigans.

For example, I would have loved 4-wheel steering in my Lightning. Getting into a tight parking lot or driveway with a vehicle whose turning radius is nearly that of the Ever Given is a bit tedious. Worth it, but tedious.

As for the original topic, although the look in Post #2 isn't my style (mine is Generic Work Truck), it's creative and interesting, and if I saw one driving by at night, I'd be impressed. The LumiLor process is interesting (check out their patent, easy to find as number 8470388) but the Lightning has so many nearly flat surfaces, conventional stick-on strips would probably work. But would all that glowy stuff be legal?

If I had that color, I'd drive it. To bad it wouldn't look good on red.

I'd be down for this with a small change. Instead of the circuit lines being visible, I would want to do them stealth, sort of like the stealth police decals, that only show up when light is on it. Preserve the look of the traditional truck while showing off a little pizzaz at night.

I had a Cybertruck loaner for 24 hours while my Model Y was in for service. It would not be something that I would own. My 2026 Model Y Juniper and Ford Lightning is the perfect combination of vehicles to own.

I love the Stealth Lightning where very few people know it’s an EV.

As far as tech goes the Juniper Model Y has almost all the tech that a CT has. Tesla is light years ahead of Ford. We subscribe to FSD with our Tesla MY and it’s absolutely unbelievable. I use it 99% of the time.

Im so happy that the anti Musk and anti EV rhetoric has slowed down. There was a point where my wife was afraid to drive and park her Tesla for fear of getting keyed.

Back to the subject, I would not drive a truck with graphics that make it stand out, even though I like the Tron version.

Below is a picture of the CT loaner in my driveway along with my Tesla and Lightning. To me the CT is ugly.
