Sounds like the offer is somehow related to the modem issues. sarah read the info but it was very hard to follow and she never mentioned what the offer was.

My lightning was definitely affected by this I would have to pull the fuse to reset my modem so I can have access to Ford pass. Doesn't sound like an offer as in they'll give you anything but more of replacing the module that is affected that's causing the connection issues. I'll post when I get my letter in the mail after 4/17 lol. For what it's worth after the previous update I received I think it was 4.2.2.1 the modem hasn't been affected since.

I think the 4.2.1 software update fixed it. Will wait and see if it has any more issues before taking mine in.

The way I understood it is Ford will send out something week of April 17 to address this issue for affected '23 owners. 2,997 of us.

I didn't hear anything about a "special offer" - they called it a "customer satisfaction program" with an expiration date of March 31, 2024 to get "something" done. Didn't say what the something is but my guess is either the software update which has seemed to have fixed the issue (for those who can't get the OTA) or maybe it's replacing something.

What I wish they would do is just give me my heated steering wheel for all the times I had to disconnect the damn battery!
