Your Sync version should now be 25094 if the APIM was also updated.
I’ll check next chance I get. I did get the new style icons at the top.

Do you know what updates you got out of it? Did you get the recent BCM update or did they do that locally?
The paperwork said they updated: a gateway module, TCU, IPMA, and PSCM “multiple times software update”

Anyone know of a Ford dealership in the Twin Cities area that are proficient at updates? When i took mine to my local dealer last Fall for the parking sensor update, they had it for three days, had to send it somewhere and they got it back. Nowhere did it say they actually did the update.
their note stated:
"Connected vehicle to battery charger and FDRS and located software update. Attempted update and ran, update failed , due to configuration not going through after 6 hours and overnight, recall incomplete and sent back to shop."

this started on a Friday, the overnight was to Saturday. Then said they needed until Monday and Monday they said vehicle was ready for pickup.

I am still just at 24127 after the three CSP's May 9. And dealer and @jesse say I am up-to-date with any modules.

So my dealer is saying that the TSB 25-2048 is no longer a valid TSB from Ford. They said all my modules are up to date (B.S). And if there is a fix it will be OTA. A Forum member just checked my VIN Saturday and 4 of the 8 modules on this TSB have updates. So frustrating.

It was superceded by TSB 25-2105. @Mike G it would be nice to edit this thread title (maybe add 2105 in brackets?).

Sounds like you're getting the run around from your dealer, regardless.

Of course they didn't state that I gave them the old TSB that had a replacement. Like they shouldn't know that? Why would they not want the 6.6 hours of labor to charge Ford?

Just found an SSM 53966? Saying if Sync4 is 23187 or lower, do not attempt to update the affected modules at this time. I'm almost positive I'm at the 24127. Just checked the other day and was one below the latest 25xxx.

They are correct, that TSB is now listed as outdated and is no longer available.

I suspect the reason for this is:

Jun 20 2025 Some 2021-2024 Ford and Lincoln vehicles equipped with SYNC 4 may not be able to perform an update to the accessory protocol interface module (APIM).

This may be due to the software in the APIM. Ford Engineering has de-activated the ability to update these SYNC 4 APIM modules and as applicable, the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) will not present an update for the APIM module. Some existing directed repairs may be impacted, check OASIS before attempting any specific TSB repairs and landing pages before attempting any specific FSA repairs. For any vehicles repairs requiring a software update that includes an APIM update in the programming sequence, if the 5-digit product code for the APIM software is equal to or lower than 23187, do not attempt to update affected modules at this time. To determine the 5-digit product code for the APIM software on the vehicle, while the vehicle center display screen is powered up with ignition in run or accessory, go to General Settings > Select About SYNC. Find the 5-digit code, example “ SYNC 4, Software Version: 23187_PRODUCT”.
