I started to get a series of fault codes out of the blue. I booked an appointment to have them diagnosed after restarting did not clear them.

The faults I had were:

Blind Spot Assist System
Trailer Brake Module

My turn signals were also Hyperflashing.

Cause was deemed to be "Check harness and wiggle test find intermittently circuit will come back. TRM CONNECT C2498C PIN 7, DUE TO TERMINAL DRAG"

Correction De Pin Connector and inspect, no corrosion of damage., Tighten PIN and reinstall to connector. Recheck PIN DRAG - Good. Recheck circuit C2498C PIN 7 to C2431A PIN 22 - Good.

I copied this directly from the work order as other may be able to interpret the language better than I could relay it.

Hopefully this helps someone who may run into a similar issue.

Ah, the old wiggle test works again! Despite being an engineer (my family thinks that means I can repair appliances), on more than one occasion I have resurrected a faulty device by giving it a good slap on it's side.

you had a loose pin in one of the connectors. The pins can be reseated if they are not damaged and you’re good to go. Probably just a bad install at the connector or harness factory.

Sounds like a smart tech based on their notes. Wish more were like this.

Side note, many of the sensors and electrical devices on our trucks can cause irregularities on the CANBUS network in the truck when a particular device or its connections experience an issue, that often leads to multiple error conditions, most being irrelevant to the root cause issue.

A good tech using pinpoint testing can usually weed out the culprit and not waste time on the impacted but irrelevant alerts.

I just dealt with an identical set of symptoms, plus my trailer lights were not working at all. This was the first time I plugged a trailer connector into my 2024 Flash.

I removed all the fuses that had anything to do with trailer towing, verified they were good, and put them back in. Then I replaced the connector on the wire coming from the trailer so there was a new connector plugging in to the vehicle.

The warnings disappeared and the trailer lights are working.

I had a similar issue the first few times I pulled a trailer - turned out to be the connector for the trailer wiring on the inside of the bumper. Reseated the connector (probably fully seated for the first time) and have had no problems since then.

My older trailer side 7-pin connector inserted so easily I doubted if its contacts were making a good electrical connection. The new one takes more force to fully insert it.
