I've been searching build records.

According to blend dates and serials the only RED Platinum built in the final weeks

...was serial G30745

Delivered to Bud Small Ford.

Ford lost around $200K on each Lightning...They will be very collectable.



With Ford Motor Company help ...I will provide more late serial numbers

Im old but in no way they could prove to me they lost 200k per truck. No way. Its like in the old days you go to buy one and they salesman comes back out after talking to finance and telling you, ok buddy, but we lost our butts on this one. I call booooshat on that 200k loss. If thats the case, well, im not going to entertain this one

Just keep in mind that Ford said no such thing about losing $200k per truck sold. That’s just bad math claimed on this forum

Anyone who thinks Ford‘s $19.5 billion charge was all due to the Lightning (and a whole lot seem to think that) clearly made zero effort to read the announcement or majorly failed to understand what they were reading

Just visited Smail Ford, the truck is still there! I talked with a salesman, he was saying they got the truck about a month ago.
Got a picture of the production sticker on the window and the door jamb sticker:

Looks like it...

Later serial numbers like 30784, 31577, 31929, 31784, 31652 (Chicago) and 31819 to Suburban Ford were never built

Final 2 weeks of "regular" production was all lower trim
