I was really looking forward to the scales. Did they remove everything for the scales, or just some component? There was no deduction in price on the sticker. Will they install it later?

You bought a 2023. Old news, many threads on this. All removed.

We haven't seen reports of post sale install of these features by Ford.

Some folks have individually installed the sensor for the security feature, we have a thread or two about that in the forum.

The onboard scales are overrated. I was excited about them at first, but I never bother with them now.
It's a gimick.... Like Tesla provides, fun to show off to folks.

FORD: I'd rather have side cameras all the time (like Tesla) not just when towing a trailer. and Security Cameras that record and you can remove that stupid motion sensor. Not sure what the "CONNECTED" feature is I pay for. At least with the Tesla you get maps, security notices and real cameras and streaming audio.

I like the onboard scales on my 2024 XLT, but I haven't found them extremely important. Given that they consist of linear potentiometers at each wheel measuring how much the suspension compresses under load, they're not extremely accurate -- just useful to help prevent overloading.

My truck came without front parking sensors (the ultrasonic ones) which were on the sticker. No chance that they'd ever fit them after the sale. They did give me $100 as an apology for getting it wrong... nowhere near the value of the sensors, which are very important to safety, but at least it's something.

So maybe if you complain loudly enough that your vehicle doesn't match the sticker, you can get a letter of apology/explanation and a small sum of money. Then find a cheap way to measure suspension compression (hold a ruler next to the coilovers?), calibrate it with bags of sand, and you're set!
