My dealer also just called me to tell me that they got Ford to comp the part and now I'm just out the $200 in labor. Glad they did the right thing but this shouldn't be a fightAn update - my dealer was able to get Ford to approve covering most of the cost, somehow. My portion is $247. It will be warrantied for 2 years/unlimited miles against workmanship/and or defects. That part worries me because no one has admitted the current unit is failing due to a defect, right? But I don't have much choice as the reverse lights are pretty much shot now.
