I don't try to EVangelize, I just drive. His very last sentences have become my goto 'Then, don't buy one' answer to "a new battery costs a million bucks", "you can't go anywhere in one", "it takes a day to charge the stupid thing", "aren't you scared your truck is going to catch fire", "<insert favorite political argument>", "but I heard they kill bald eagles and use more oil to produce", etc., etc.

A little off topic but I had to pick up a friend at a local Jeep/RAM dealership, my friend was inside when I pulled up, all the sales staff started trash talking my Lightning, their biggest complaint being it can't tow very far. My response, it can tow more than your RAM EV.
I get the fire comment from a lot of people also.. "Aren't you afraid it will catch on fire?"

I don't understand this mentality. You'd think they'd be buddy-buddy with you. Pick your brain about your likes and dislikes. Try to build some rapport to possibly upsell you when the Rev does come out. If not you, then be able to convince someone else based on first hand anecdotes. Very few people think anything through now-a-days. What a shame, wasted opportunity.
