Looks like you got your situation figured out then? Hope you’ll share any info on the process for future people to not get scammed!
Almost there,
This afternoon, more email BS, Salesman, was not available .
I meet with GM Wed's at 5PM to get his word regarding ADM policy.

I may have another dealer in Mass to add to the list of Good guys, but haven't had a chance to talk to them yet, but a couple of guys on https://www.ford-lightning.com pointed me to IRA Ford in Auburn Mass, supposed to be NO-ADM

Interesting points above about the $100 reservation and $500 deposit fees, if I get my order with the present dealer rejected, they are supposed to refund those payments (subject to dealer policy on the FORD FAQ page.)

When I transfer the reservation to the new dealer, via FORD Customer Support, no credits will post to the receiving dealer, I can see how they might want a payment even if CORP does not require it.

After jumping through all these hoops and putting up with the BS from dealer # 1, I also think it fair they wave it, as I've already demonstrated my interest to make this purchase, but a token of sincerity never hurts and it goes to the balance on delivery day anyhow.

My original dealer isn’t going to sign off on moving it and lose the ADM though. Sounds like that’s required if I read your post right.
Were you in one of the waves yet?

looking closer at the order form, the $100 is shown as reservation deposit, and the $500 is called order deposit. I didn't realize that varied across dealerships, but at least it's refundable in the odd case I decide not to go through with the purchase.

Yah, first wave Pro order.

The deposit is only refundable if your dealer says it is. Ford specified this when you go to order, that you need to contact the dealer to inquire about their deposit policy.

That was from last week’s interview, and by the looks of it dealerships haven’t changed their practice much yet. What is “reasonable” ADM anyway? Give me MSRP, or give me death.
Yeah it was from last week for Ford. I hadn’t heard the GM was taking the same tack until I saw this today. Maybe old news too.

All World Ford in Hortonville, WI. No ADM, they will only sell at MSRP.

I have personally bought two new vehicles there in the last 18 months.

If you can find out how to do this, it would be super helpful, in fact probably worth it’s own thread. I am among those in desperate need of having my order transferred to another dealer.
Is yours being built yet? All this bull everyone's going through is astonishing to me. If your dealership is marking these above MSRP they're headed for a world of hurt. Everything from bad surveys, loss of customers, bad rep, losing allocation, etc. This just is not worth it. Sheesh.

NayNay, how do you suggest I address my dealer? I have asked multiple times how much in allocation they’ve received so far and no dealer/manager/rep will tell me straight up. I just want an answer on the likelihood of getting a MY22 bc I may have to buy something else before being able to obtain a ‘23. I’m 6th in line on their priority list (would be way down the line based on time stamp, so can’t exactly switch dealers and have a realistic chance). I’m not sure if they’re afraid to tell me that they haven’t been allotted much because they think I’ll switch dealers or something. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

No, it is not yet being built. As far as I am concerned though, Ford has not impressed me any more than the dealer. I called Ford customer service who said that I would get a call back. I did not. Then I used Ford’s online support who gave me a ticket and said they would contact me by email. They have not.

Farley is making a lot of noise on his media tour about combatting ADM, but doesn’t even have a way for the customer to report it. If anything he is emboldening these bad actors, who will learn quickly to add ADM after the order is placed. Ford will do nothing and there’s nothing that the customer can do about it.

This would be my first Ford, but so far Ford has given me no reason to believe that they care about my business at all.

Dealerships were actually told not to share allocation with the public because it's extremely low. Like very low. Some "waves" have 0. Your waves go out directly to the customer from Ford. You get an invitation to convert the order and the dealership is hands off it. This was to prevent dealerships from altering or screwing it up. It's all on the reservation holder. The rest are going to be next year and later until the chip shortage gets straight. The dealership should be giving realistic times for these builds. Have you told them you need another vehicle while you wait? That in itself could be an incentive for them to be forthcoming with you.
Your timestamp stays with you even if you change dealerships. I've had people email me asking how many orders we have, and our allocations too and I've been honest about it. I am seeing a ton of customers thinking they'll get 1 this year when the ones who will are far and few. Ford recently shared info with dealerships on their projection numbers for what they will produce this year across all models and your dealership (if they attended the virtual meeting) should have this information to set realistic goals. I'm getting the impression dealerships may not be telling people the truth. Have the 3rd waves gone out yet? I believe there's only 3 waves to cover the entire model year.
I would do my best to contact someone (showing up is best) who's above the salespersson's pay grade. GSM, GM, new car mgr. I know this isn't an answer but it's what I know for now.
