I’m not sure who you spoke with, but it should wholly be in the purview of Ford Connected Services - 866-861-0420.
I eventually got through to the Blue Oval team and they told me it was a known backend issue on Electrify America side and I just have to sit and wait for a resolution as the ETA is not known at this time.

I've been pretty vocal about my bad experiences with EA, so I'd be remiss if I didn't shout them out when I have a good one. Dropped my daughter off at college on Saturday in Rhode Island. Left NH with 95% and dropped her off with about 45% left on the battery. My bed and frunk were full so I knew I'd lose a little bit more due to the weight. Dropped her stuff off curbside and had 90 minutes to kill while the wife and other kids brought all of her stuff up to the room. Figured I'd go charge while they were busy and I found a Walmart about 10 minutes away in the middle of Providence. Found a station on Plugshare with 3 Hyper Fast (350Kw) stations and 1 Ultra Fast (150KW). I chose the Ultra Fast because I wasn't in a hurry and to my surprise, I got a consistent 125KW for the little over 30 minutes I was there to top it off at 90%. Two of the 3 Hyper Fast stations were in use when I left and seemed to be working with no problem. Made sure I left a good review in PlugShare where the rating was a 10 and that might be legit given most of the comments.

Glad you got a good charging session, I have visited that location a couple of times months ago, both were not positive experiences.

I suspect I'll be a semi regular visitor so I'll be sure to provide updates, good and bad. Hopefully they did something to improve the hardware that will stick for a while.

Recently completed first trip requiring DCFC after one year of ownership from Frederick, MD to Millinocket, Maine. Have to say I was pleasantly surprised. Trip was about 800 miles one-way and stopped at EA in Allentown, PA and Stratford, CT - both good stops. Auburn, MA not ideal but okay, used ChargePoint in Gardiner, ME for last charge before destination - CP was EXCEPTIONAL!

Horrible EA at Seabrook, NH kind of screwed the return leg of the trip. Located in Walmart parking lot 4 supposed Hyper-chargers advertised, got only 35 kwh speed. Spent so much time at this location it put me in rush hour traffic in several locations despite my planning.

35 KW at an EA station is the classic symptom of a bad temp sensor in the cable. They’ve been fighting this for at least 2 years.

Stopped at Auburn twice on my recent trip to Bowerbank, ME....both times pretty disappointing but they at least worked unlike the EVgo in Sturbridge at the Panera/Holiday Inn Express. The Stratford CT spot was great though so that made up for the issues lol.

Was the West Gardiner ChargePoint working at full speed? The Kennebunk plaza had the 200kW units broken and per plugshare they've been broken for a while :(

Over the last year, and a lot of DC Charging, I've seen times when EA would suddenly 'bill' my credit card for a charge that happened over 3 months before. No rhyme or reason why, no explanation, sometimes you're even banging your head to even REMEMBER where you might have charged on that 'date'!
If you charge, and don't see a charge on your account or credit card, they'll eventually catch it and 'catch up' on your bill : /

Word to the wise, EA may have fixed the problems with the 350kW chargers at that station, but you don't want to count on using it some times of day (well, OK, night/evening). Crowds from the nightclub across the street use the Walmart lot and those chargers are in the very closest spaces for them. Walmart management and security won't do anything about it and EA claims they're totally at the mercy of parking lot owners to clear blocking cars (which is probably true). I can't wait until that mythical adapter shows up in the mail and I have the Providence Supercharger as another option!

Woof that's good to know. Thank you for the tip. I'm heading down there Friday night to pick up my daughter at school so I'll plan accordingly.
