Has anyone verified if easy mode increments the bits set amounts, or if the just change the bit to a set value?

I suppose it could be either

The one time I compared, it flipped the bit correctly. But that's just one check.

I agree with @rugedraw - you are at the mercy of the FS guys. They are a bright bunch no doubt, but I'm also in the "show me" camp.

@bmwhitetx - on the front page, the link "As-built Method" under the " Change Tire Size for Speedometer Calibration" section seems to have been deleted from the forums, FYI.

thanks to these wonderful thread, i was now able to:
- fix the disappearing 24hr hour format.

i also did
-Change Number of Blinks for Turn Signal Tap
and
-Glare-free headlights

with the Glare-free headlights mod, shouldn't i be seeing a Sync UI change? I do not see any on mine.

Yup that where i saw it from.

so i have my light at auto. But don’t see the Glare Free option.
I double checked and triple checked the values that i changed and it looked liked i followed what was posted in post #1.

Just as i went out to the truck to check as i wasn’t sure if i had auto-brights, guess what i saw! Yipee.

i also noticed some brightness prompt popping up on the cluster console.

No, I don't think so. Did you get that from the the spreadsheet on the 14th Gen forum? That's specific to ICE.

I haven't seen anyone confirm it with the codes they used. But @Gerstein1989 and @Riverant said they got it working.

You likely need the APIM change where you flip the bit on the OVS parameter.

Discussions are that the SSV variant of the Lightning will charge the battery once it gets below a certain level, the belief is the non-SSV trucks will do the same yet more than a few have had dead batteries.

Do we have any as-built files for SSV trucks to compare?

I have several of them. I can send them to you and you can try to find any secrets!

I enabled Glare-free headlights, Silent Mode, Trailer Side View and 50/50 view in camera menu. Now my mirrors don't auto fold when I lock. Any ideas what I screwed up? I did take a backup all the modules before making any changes so I can easily restore.

Thanks for the help! Got glare free head lights and all the other changes working, however had one issue:

I already had WAL on my 23 XLT, dealer must have done the update as I bought it used, however didn't have the toggle so was attempting to add the walk away lock toggle and now it won't allow me to re-enable it. Getting "This setting isn't avalible right now" when attempting to toggle it back on. Does anyone have any suggestions?
