Many people do (but not me). Seems like there was an update that enabled it but if your truck did not get that update the update that superseded it did not enable it
OK, so what is the strategy for getting this fixed? Any chance Ford support can help? Is it worth at least reporting this to Ford so they know their are issues? My quick reading of this thread does not give me much hope for a quick resolution.

The 25's didn't ship with android auto ev routing? Know the 24's required an update but the 25's not having it would be a bit ridiculous even for Ford.

My thoughts exactly and my Lightning is a Job 2 production as it has the 123kWh battery so pretty new from factory; but since my phone works fine with our 25 MME, I have to believe it is a problem with the software in my Flash. Are there any other settings in SYNC that need to be set?

Nor me and I did find out that my ancient Samsung S 10e has a late enough version of Android that it should work. I hate that I had to give up, but I did. Ford couldn't help, the dealer couldn't help. I even tried Grok. '25 Fash.

I have a 25 Flash (bought June 30) and my Samsung 23S will not integrate EV routing via google and android auto. If I go to our 25 Mach E, it works just fine. This tells me it is some update that the Lightning does not have. Does anyone have this working on their truck?
I have a 25 Flash and can check, . What exactly are we doing with this integrating thing? When I get in my truck and leave, it automatically jumps to AA screen with nav map. Only had it a month so it's all still very new to me.

EDIT: Looked up what you're talking about. Haven't tried using the feature, didn't know it existed until this thread, lol. I'll post back after I check.

Put in somewhere a few hundred miles away and it should add a charging stop and show percentage. Without navigating, it usually shows 2 of your frequent locations and estimated arrival percentage. Don't recall having to do anything special when I updated my 23 with FDRS in October of last year.

Yes you should let Ford and your dealer know.

You can push the feedback button and record feedback from the comfort of your truck. As well as a few different 1800 numbers that I don't have handy.

Also...

@Ford Motor Company any thoughts?

I've tried waiting for the fix via OTA but it's been a long time.

Only thing I saw was in settings, it had a check box with Energy saving preferred route or something like that (it was checked), I still have no clue what the perceived malfunction is.

Likely won't get any sympathy from Ford or the dealer. Ford will just say "soon" and the dealer isn't updating anything without $$$$. Aside from waiting, having someone near you with FDRS or doing it yourself are about the only options. You can ping mikeg or rugedraw and they should be able to check your vin to tell if you have an APIM update available which is where the ev routing would come. If not, even going to the dealer wouldn't do any good.

It is not a "perceived" malfunction. For many of us, we do not have the EV integration. Here is a video that does a pretty good job of explaining its features.

Ahh IC said the blind man, ok thanks for the video link, that brings clarity to the conversation. I'll have to have a closer look for that percentage on the destination, I don't remember if It shows or not, still getting use to the whole truck coming from a 2013 XLT.

I'll be poking around this weekend updating my old truck, wife's suv and mom's muskrat while I'm at it to justify the $150 expense. I use to do this type of work at a Ford dealer years ago.

I have a VCMII for use with IDS so that's not an issue, Thanks for the visual, that helps. I use to do this kind of work as a dealer line tech but it's been a couple decades and I'm having to relearn along the way.

One thing to make sure you do is go into settings on Google Maps on your phone and go to the "Your Vehicles" option and be sure to select "Electric" and enter set up your specific vehicle and its charger plug types; see attached pics

When I bought my '24 it didn't have EV routing or Karaoke (I don't care about the Karaoke feature, but it came in the same 10.1.0 update) so I took mine to the dealer and they updated something and they got it working. Do your homework and go in with some information since you probably know more about the truck then they do.

I would also suggest to mention "Intermittent wireless Apple CarPlay or Android Auto functions" and inform them about TSB 25-2105 needing to be done

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this TSB does not apply to those of us with 2025 MY Lightnings. My truck also has Karaoke app. I feel there is something else missing for us.
