Just a tip for others,

I recommend finding a good, cheap unit by checking with local salvage yards, you-pull-it or other parts recyclers local to you, not necessarily ebay. The source parts from certain models are truly mass-produced, dime-a-dozen so the spare parts should be plentiful and easy to find for cheap in good-used condition. I got a used one, so it smelled a bit weird and was pretty dirty when it arrived, but it is now clean it looks amazing and it works!

Same here. Insert on the way and still trying to sift through this thread to determine the best one to buy. Will most likely get an OEM rotary shifter from ford as most of the eBay links are sold or no longer listed.

Did you find a dial that worked for you and if so, could you share the link please? Thank you!

@Keanen i wish i had a good update bud but I took a chance and ordered one off of eBay and got a JX6P instead of a LX6P that they had advertised. Another forum member got the same model and it threw a bunch of codes so I didn’t even bother installing. Guess I will have to get an OEM like I thought I should have in the first place 🥲

I'm officially ordering one directly from a Ford dealership, and the specific part number is already on the verified list thanks to @T3Fan . I think getting a brand new OEM one is totally worth the peace of mind, given I own a nearly $100k truck lol.

Also got duped on the wrong part, didn't notice until after the truck rejected it. The ebay seller is allowing a full refund even after knowing I dremeled off a bit of plastic so the part fit the 3d printed shell. I can't complain about that. Just ordered the same shifter as @T3Fan from my local ford dealer. Had 50 bucks in points thanks to getting new Michelin Defenders a couple weeks ago.

They are selling PZ1P-7P155-AC as LX6Z-7P155-U. If you want a non motorized one, you are good. But you won't get the LX6Z-7P155-U from them.

Hey man I made the mistake of ordering this one from the multisurplus guy as well before re-reading this thread again. So the errors you experienced with this trying to shift to park on the highway weren’t caused by this shifter? Just making sure it’s good to go. They advertise it as the correct part now instead of the L version.

The PZ1P works fine. My errors were unrelated. The only note now is that it is non motorized.

Ok cool I saw in the spreadsheet (after ordering) to not order from multisurplus and was hoping it was just for false advertising. I would prefer the motorized but not a deal breaker for me.

So interestingly enough, I was a bit surprised to open the LX6Z-7P155-X box at the dealership parts counter and find a different part number inside lol. It appeared to be a brand new factory sealed box, so the parts guy said they do that sometimes hmm. I verified the LX6P-7P155-LE part number via this thread, so I took it home and gave it go. I've now confirmed for myself that it's both motorized AND lit up via ambient lighting ring at the bottom. I think I've gotten out of the truck with it still in gear at least once daily since installing, just to satisfyingly watch it turn back towards park haha.

On a side note, add another happy @PolymerBuilt insert user here as well.

Were you able to get 155-X installed, and if so, did you have to make any modifications to the part?

I can verify this one works from ebay.

It is not OEM and is listed as a PZ1P-7P155-AC but works fine without any issues and has been in my truck for a few weeks now.

That's exactly the same one I got, the -LE, and it works perfectly. I love the Bronco Sport rubberized ring and the little blue ambient light at night.

No error codes or DTCs ever from day one.
