Blue Cruise 1.4.x : IPMA 24.204.10.9

Since the notes clearly say 1.4 I'm not sure we confuse everyone with a title that says 1.4.1.

This whole thread refers to IPMA-24.204.10.9 which already has a thread. That update seemed to pause last year but has apparently resumed.

If this was an improvement I would think Ford would have at least appended a .1 to IPMA-24.204.10.9

DANG IT .. I purposely searched earlier for any existing threads (with only the numbers) and came up with NILL.

But Search for [IPMA-24.204.10.9] and I get the following threads:

IPMA-24.204.10.9/24-PU0119-DC-CHG4

New BlueCruise Version 1.4 - Rollout IPMA-24.204.10.9

I'll adjust this to 1.4.x until Brian fills us in on what is going on, maybe this is yet another improvement tweak to the prior improvement tweak, SMH.

Now that this thread has revived the conversation on this update, I'm locking the old threads to concentrate discussion here and eliminate multiple replications.

I just received this update again for the second time. My truck had BC 1.4 when I picked it up (maybe the dealer did an update with FDRS) then I received it a couple of months later and then again today. Wonder how many more times I will receive it lol

I am hoping to see this soon on my XLT ER as I asked this way back then.

Has anyone who has received this update multiple times been able to detect any changes in the behavior of the affected features?
I haven't driven mine since it updated but I am hoping some of the anomalies in adaptive cruise control will go away.

yes i agree, since i had the first BC update my cruise control and ACC has been kinda sporadic sometimes dropping down and speeding up by 20 mph at times randomly on straight a ways that i have driven for for months , predictive speed is set to off and there used to be a sign recognition switch that i think was replaced. I have not been able to test out the new update as it has been a Lil icy here in south Texas. the last couple of day.also like to add that my BC subscription has bumped up too 2031 with an extra year on it. sweet.

The update has lane centering improvements applicable to regular cruise control. Is your Lariat a SR without the Copilot 360 Assist package?

I’ve been getting the same notice. I’ve tried to manually do the update but when I come back, it still says it’s waiting to update overnight. It’s been saying this for a week.

Here's what I found out. This is a minor config update to IPMA for vehicles that have got BC 1.4 in service.

For those of you are getting this update, would be cool to see the "minor config update" for IPMA. Go to the Motorcraft As-Built site and download your As-Built. Then after the update, download it again. DM me if you want help doing the compare.

Yes it is. My lane centering is perfect, I turned off updates until I get my new 12v battery installed. I'm getting a message saying the update can not install because 12v battery is low.

I just did a quick compare - over 120 changes. Looks like I got hit with two updates at the same time though - Feature Enhancement: Driver Assist features (IPMA-24.204.10.9) and PU - Center Touch Screen (SYNC-25.2.1.6.5).
