Can't set charging limit after new update PT-25.8.5: fix #13

Updates have been known to delete charging locations. Once you charge there again, you should be able to set it back up.
Could you give us screenshots from the SYNC or Ford App, showing the description for this OTA.
Also include the shot from the bottom of the listed description where the version number is listed.
This thread is title 28.8.5 and your response in another thread said 25.8.5, which is correct ??

He probably meant PT-25.8.5. There‘s a thread on that but was closed and continued as PT-25.13.12.
Some folks reported charging locations deleted.
Thanks for the reminder, I re-searched and found 25.8.5, I bumped that up the results list so other can read it and the subsequent thread.

I just went through this...it sucked. I could not get it to set the location (in APP)...even after doing a charge at home. I had to go in through SYNC in the truck to set the location and also re-set my home in navigation. Even then...this morning it started the "Departure and cabin warm up" and hour earlier than scheduled? All my times are correct in truck and app and have it set to the right time zone? Hope it was just because the new settings...but I don't know?
The spontaneous battery warming phase might have kicked on as needed, it's not dependent on an actual departure event in extreme cold.
When there is a departure event, I've seen it start as much as an hour early in extreme cold conditions.

It's been really cold here (Chicago) and never seen that before and last night wasn't all that cold? By the time I actually got in the truck to go to work...it was REALLY hot in the cabin. lol

Cant even enter the charge limit in the app while its charging. Just goes to 100% unless you manually stop it. As far as locations charged at my usual location (work) and won't let me add it as a target charge location. Does show any.

That worked from truck and now target charge location shows in ap.

Having the same issue -my truck charged to 100% last night (i had it set to 50% when I went to bed).
Had to go drive around to lower it down to 90% since I didn't have plans going anywhere. Need to now reset departure/charge locations etc...very annoying....

After recent "updates", half the stuff in my 23 Lariat don't work consistently or correctly anymore.... charging limits are the least of my issues...
