How long does it normally take to receive the Comma 4 after ordering? It says they’re in stock and has free 2 day shipping.

I ordered on Friday morning, and it still hasn’t shipped.

They’re saying 4-6 weeks for the Q4 harness.
Welp, never mind theaustinite. Here's my timeline:

  • April 14 - Ordered
  • April 15 - Notified that Q4 harness is backordered 1-2 weeks
  • April 27 - Notified that Q4 harness is backordered causing orders to "ship within 4–12 weeks from the order date"
  • April 30 - Shipped (supposedly with the harness)

I'm expecting mine today. I think I want to mount it to the mirror...

I‘ve been running the Comma Four for 3 months now. It takes time to dial in all the settings and models but once its setup, it works way better than Bluecruise. The best and most enjoyable part is it works on ANY roads. Currently I have the BluePilot 6.0 and the Liquid Glass model, and with the Uncle Tony coupler, I have no error messages on the truck. I recently drove a 1,600 mile road trip and the Comma drove at least 97% of the journey and totally eliminated driver fatigue. Well worth the one time investment versus the $50 a month, limited to mapped roads, always yelling at you factory ADAS.

Is there a conformation screen or message once you submit the form for a doc order? I can’t tell if its actually submitting the request or not.
No, it's on the punch list.

I recieved two orders today, but they both have a tracking nubmer already. Feel free to just DM me if the website is being problematic.

I have a comma 3 in my 22 f-150 Lightning and was using it while towing an empty utility trailer with electric brakes. I had a car pull out in front of me at a side road and I had to hit the brakes hard. Then I got the pull over reduced power and had to be towed home.
While waiting for the tow, the truck stopped responding to any controls and just displayed prnd on the dash. So instead of letting my 12v get drained I pulled the negative terminal.
The next day, I removed the Q4 harness then connected the negative terminal. When I turned the ignition on, the dash still showed warnings but I was able put it in gear and move the truck. I turned the ignition off then back on and the dash use showed a wrench, I turned the ignition off again then back on and the wrench went away and my Lightning is back to normal!
Anybody have any idea what went wrong and how can I avoid this happening again , because I would really like to tow with my comma for the lane centering, I could live without the hands free. The Lightning stops lane centering when a trailer is connected.

Highly unlikely it's actually related to the comma. A lot of those devices are not even on the same canbus as the IPMA and the PSCM. Get it all removed so the dealeship can't blame the comma and then see what they say actually went wrong.
