Order our dock here: https://bluepilot.dev/dock-order-page/

Edit: the link was in the video description, but you would have had to watch on youtube to see it.
Is there a conformation screen or message once you submit the form for a doc order? I can’t tell if its actually submitting the request or not.

No, it's on the punch list.

I recieved two orders today, but they both have a tracking nubmer already. Feel free to just DM me if the website is being problematic.

I have a comma 3 in my 22 f-150 Lightning and was using it while towing an empty utility trailer with electric brakes. I had a car pull out in front of me at a side road and I had to hit the brakes hard. Then I got the pull over reduced power and had to be towed home.
While waiting for the tow, the truck stopped responding to any controls and just displayed prnd on the dash. So instead of letting my 12v get drained I pulled the negative terminal.
The next day, I removed the Q4 harness then connected the negative terminal. When I turned the ignition on, the dash still showed warnings but I was able put it in gear and move the truck. I turned the ignition off then back on and the dash use showed a wrench, I turned the ignition off again then back on and the wrench went away and my Lightning is back to normal!
Anybody have any idea what went wrong and how can I avoid this happening again , because I would really like to tow with my comma for the lane centering, I could live without the hands free. The Lightning stops lane centering when a trailer is connected.

Highly unlikely it's actually related to the comma. A lot of those devices are not even on the same canbus as the IPMA and the PSCM. Get it all removed so the dealeship can't blame the comma and then see what they say actually went wrong.

FYI... for those interested. CTO from Comma was on the Practical AI podcast recently and I found it to be an interesting listen. (see link below). One of the most interesting things he discussed is they are testing allowing users to use an External GPU for potentially more advanced computational features, which they also posted on X about recently (post below)

I just installed a comma 3X I have had laying for 6 months, as I just got the Lightning coupler today (not easy getting one to Norway). I spent a fair time trying to connect the Q4 harness, but had to ask my girlfriend who have significantly smaller hands to help me with one connection. After the wiring was done, it started throwing errors. After searching far and wide, flipping the USB cable 180 degrees solved the issue.

Now I can confirm it works brilliantly in both Norway and Sweden.

What I do miss is that I run the WD40 driving model and I have no idea what that does compared to the others? Also, speed does not adjust by it self? I can't turn this feature on. Any ideas for fixing that and maybe also turning down the timer for the keep hands on steering wheel. It's significantly better, but would love for not to be gone or at least less frequent.

Best,

Anders

Hi,

Yes,

It does not read Swedish speed signs or the ones for construction with yellow background, only white. So it works better in Norway than in Sweden.

I just need to click more in the settings I believe. Not all of the options are intuitive. Would love an updated youtube video on the settings people actually use.

Is there an option to especially reduce speed when there is a lower speed limit?
I believe you need to enable "experimental mode" and "alpha longitudinal control" in the Comma settings. Not 100% sure on the exact names of the toggles, but something very similar to those.

I did not like using that option in the USA and many posts on here and the Comma forum on Discord seem to agree that using the Ford Adaptive Cruise (ACC) is a better experience with the Comma handling the lateral steering.

Thank you guys for posting all this info. Im really on the fence looking at this. Reading all the reviews/data that I can for now.

@bluepilot folks you have a typo in your FAQ page. bluepilto instead of bluepilot. Not a huge deal but if there is a typo in coding of this device, that could be a huge deal :)

Visual Settings:
Show Blind Spot Warnings: False (There is a bluepilto specific option that most prefer)
