24 Flash. Had the 3 month trial after I bought the truck and used it a few times. I recall that was BC 1.2. It updated to BC 1.4 and I bought (with points) two months when I was going to do long drives - one last fall and one this spring. I will admit that on a long drive it is kinda nice to have, but I don't entirely trust it so I watch it pretty closely. I have a 3K+ mile trip planned in a few months and will buy a month for that trip.
Just looked, no deals or offers available to me.

1. When I select a driving mode such as Sport, I expect it to stay there after I get the prompt asking if I want to return to sport and click yes, by the time I click yes, put it in gear and start moving, the F@#^ing thing turns itself back to normal mode and I have to change it back again.
YES! I hate that! I'd prefer it to just stay in what ever mode I select until I change it, but when I hit "yes" and it reverts back to normal, I want to punch something!

What year is your lightning?

I have a 23 and I’m free trial mode for BC until December 2029.
yup mine is a MY23 as well , like i said not sure what had changed, mine was set to expire in 28. I went back and looked at a previous post that i commented on where somebody had mentioned about B.C. offer and my screenshot shows expire in 28. I do not remember any other offers coming across, so I'm at a loss for words there. On the other hand i do use B.C daily for at least 100 miles a day to from work. so that might have something to do with it.

I've got a '25 Lariat and I got the $24.99/$249.99 offer as well. Small print says "Only BlueCruise customers with a recently expired trial or plan are eligible for offer."

50% off may look good on the surface, but when you think about it... it's not like BC is full self driving. (And if it was, it probably wouldn't be safe to use. The tech just isn't there yet. But I digress.)

If you say yes, you're either $75 in the hole for three months, or $250 for a year. That's anywhere from around 800 to around 2,000 miles worth of electrickery, if you charge at home in NorCal. Depending on the weight of your right foot, of course. Probably more in other locales.

Worth it? Not for me, I'd rather take the kilowatts and do the driving myself.

Now, for $10/month, or $100/year, that might be different. Just for the novelty value of it. But on principle, I don't like the idea of subscribing to a feature in my car/truck. Although that seems to be the way the industry is going.

Ford wants waaay too much money for that. I'd be willing to pay 1,000 for a lifetime, but that's just robbery to want that much on a monthly basis?...

My BC will end April 27, and after that, they can have it.

No thanks.

Sad, I had subscribed for the last 3 months because we had a few longer drives during that time, and just cancelled it this week. For $250 a year I'd probably keep it on, but since I already had an active sub I probably won't get the discount offer.

Is the comma.ai system lots better than BC? I'd imagine as it evolves it would improve faster than BC. I am certainly getting closer to purchasing that for the one time fee. My BC trial ended and while I use the lane keep and adaptive cruise, I don't use it enough. BC was easier to use all the time.

We have a Comma.ai in our Chevy Bolt and I do like it better than BC in large part because it works everywhere, not just on the interstate. I would have bought a Comma for my truck by now, but they released the comma 4 last year and it was on backorder for quite a while. Last I looked, orders were expected to take about 12 weeks to ship, and I don't have the patience for that. :)
That said, I haven't used the comma in a lightning, and its capabilities will vary depending on the vehicle and the openpilot fork used.

I've seen a couple or more people here that use it. Brandon Flash YT channel has a review of it. I'm sure is as good as most other vehicles. I can wait for the delivery, I just gotta save the cash for a bit to spend.

Yeah, I know others here use it and like it. I think I was told that I should expect it to be more limited for steering due to a lower torque limit in the electronic power steering compared to the bolt. I would ask about it in that thread if you're considering buying one. You'll need to order the adapter that one of the guys here makes anyway.

Not for 2024's this is the email I got today. It is not a value proposition for software that is simply less than marginal in today's software capabilities.

They appear to hate the owners of the 2024s.

I have a '24 Lariat, I received the offer and took it for now. Once I hit 36k, I'm going all in on FORScan, the rotary shifter mod and Comma.
Pretty much my plan as well.
