Curious how many people end up renewing or paying for Blue Cruise? I have had for the last 35 months and it expires in a few weeks. I have no intention. It is not the greatest tool and when I have used it it is usually only available for short segments.
I knew going in it was not going to be permanent feature but I was hoping they would have modified the pricing or improved the quality and availability.

You didn't get the 1 year subscription for 0 dollars? I thought everyone here jumped on that deal. I've had my truck for 39 months and my subscription won't end until April 27.

I only got three months of free demo when I bought my '24 Flash in February of 25. I bought it with rewards points for two trips in October last year and again for two trips in March this year. The only time I used it was on long open roads and when doing a 500 mile day it is kinda nice. I do not entirely trust it, so keep a very close eye on what it's doing and hands and feet close by. Going forward I expect only to buy it when I'm going to be doing a long trip.

If you search the forum, it's clear that an overwhelming majority of owners that have hands free BC equipped do not plan on subscribing to it. Ford wants too much for what it provides. I had the extra year on mine which expired this past June so I didn't have it when I made my July 4th trek to El Paso. The constant alerts of the basic lane keep assist was annoying, but I survived. The absolute most I would pay per month is $15. I will not even entertain the notion one penny above that.

The problem with BC is that it requires mapped roads. In most of Canada, it's basically useless (just do a google search for blue cruise maps) They don't even have the major east/west trans Canada highway mapped and I haven't seen any effort to add more roads. Since I have owned the truck, I've literally had to purposely drive out to some short roads just to try it out (what a complete waste of a 3 year trial). Cool novelty, but who in their right mind would actually subscribe to this in Canada. I guess there may some very specific instances where someone's daily route is mapped but that is going to be very niche up here. If Ford is serious about having these types of subscriptions, they need to put the effort in and increase the amount of users its services would be useful to.

Does anyone know what is involved for Ford to map a road? I would assume it's just a vehicle, like the Google Maps vehicle that they just drives down the route. Maybe someone then has to enter some road signs or something.... In 5 years...How is it possible that they couldn't drive the TransCanada highway is beyond me. That tells me that the effort in the service is crap and I have zero interest in supporting crap services.

My BC one year extension ends in 3 days. I am planning on getting a comma 4 device instead. 2 years of BC subscription pays for a comma that works on the roads I actually drive on instead.

My 4 years (2022 Mach-E and Lightning, came with 3, then they gave 1 more) have both expired in the past 2 months. I MIGHT select the monthly for a long trip, maybe 1 to 2x per year across both vehicles.

Again, maybe if I ever got an update for it? But I’ll never know if the latest version is remotely worth it. 1.0 certainly not.

Not renewing the annual plan, I don't foresee the need of it in my use case.

Purchased in October 2022 with 3 years BC included. Then received another free year. My 4 years will be up this October. I will be close to 100k miles on the truck when that happens. I use BC every day I drive to work and like it. Makes my commute a little bit easier. But I will not renew at the price they are asking. Not worth it.

My BC subscription expires in 6 days. I will not be renewing it, nor will I be renewing the Connected built-in navigation subscription. My use case doesn't make either of these financially viable, especially BC at the price being charged.

When I puchased the truck I didn't want to face that decision and be stuck with a subscription plan. I purchased a "lifetime" subscription at time of purchse. Only the dealer can add this at time of puchase. My subscription expires June 11, 2069.

BC expire in June for my truck. Novelty but not worth $50 per month.
I always said that if it would drive me home from the bar after midnight that I would jump all over that.

I think it was $2700. It wasn't cheap but stays with the vehicle if I sell it and I will never need to think about the stupid subscription fee. I am currently on a road trip from southern Maryland to the middle of Connecticut. BC was really nice for this trip. I don't regret spending the money but had hoped it would extend to more mapped roads.
