Moving out of state, truck will be transported by a car hauler company. Need to know if the frunk can be locked so the haulers don’t have access to it. Tried valet mode but it doesn’t secure the frunk only the tailgate

You might look for the fuse that controls it and remove that. Otherwise, if they have the fob or valet they have access.

You're efforts to disable access to the frunk in undocumented and unapproved ways could render a "DIFFICULT" condition if the LVB .... SHTB !!!

Yes there is the manual open pull tab, but I'd not disable the electric controls intentionally.

Are you storing gold bars in there? Why are they not allowed to access it. I’m sure they designed it to be always accessible in some way in order to access the LVB.

He might have junk the frunk that he doesn't want to loose or take a chance with.

I don't let my flash / worktruck get valet parked or leave the keys in certain lots. Between my personal softball gear ,multiple bats worth 250-300 each and plumbing equipment, supplies, there's no knowing if somebody has sticky fingers.

They simply pull the internal release...

No, the frunk cannot be locked to prevent access to anyone with access to the inside of the vehicle. Nor can the tailgate.

If you have rear underseat storage (factory option, no longer offered), you can lock that and then not give them a physical key.

You can also lock the center console and glove compartment (I think) with the key taken out of the fob. Nothing a crowbar can’t work around but it’s something.

Apparently not and I could not find any aftermarket solution.

BTW, the tailgate as it comes from Ford is vulnerable to easy opening even when locked, providing access to the tail lights which sometimes are stolen, even the tail gates are being stolen.
There are threads about this on the forum with various aftermarket solutions to that issue.

Bottom line is any personal items that are really valuable or irreplaceable should not be left in the custody of a mover or vehicle transporter.

They sell a tamper tape that can be applied to the gap between the panels..if the tape is cut, it's been opened. If it's intact, no need to worry..each roll has a unique serial number so it's not like they can just cut a new piece.

Probably the best and most elegant option.

Also those tamper seals sound
Like a good idea but they’re designed to be difficult to simply peel of. That would defeat their purpose. I wouldn’t want to put that on my truck.

As the LockPickingLawyer has shown a number of times, those tamper evident seals aren't really THAT hard to remove without setting off their tamper evidence, and then reapplying after you're done.
