F150 Lightning FORScan thread - Version 2

I know it's been talked about before but hoping it can be revisited now that I've seen multiple people stating the 2025s stay in the last mode without the prompt, ie Sport mode, so hoping someone can figure out the Forscan combo

I only follow this forum and not Reddit, FB, etc. Haven't seen any 2025 folks here say that Sport or Tow mode stays enabled across starts - unless I missed it. I can help if they do. Any 2025's want to weigh in? @WXman @RLXXI

Been in Facebook groups. They went from a 2024 to 2025 so knew the difference and were surprised and thought it was a fluke at first that it held.

My previous 2025 PowerBoost Hybrid did not.

Color me confused.

My truck is a June 2025 build and it does NOT stay in the last mode selected. Very annoying.

Ironically, the heated steering wheel and seats DO stay in last mode selected, which NONE of my prior vehicles ever did, and I would prefer that those settings don't.

Lol I guess we call these "first world problems" right?

2025 Platinum Build date 2/25 (likely Job 1) has sticky drive modes
2025 Flash Build date 6/25 (likely Job 2) does not.

I have read that this was a bug in early 2025s and should be “fixed” with updates.

Is the bug that it works?! Our very limited data shows an early 2025 has it and a later 25 does not . I can't imagine this would be a trim thing.

I haven’t read the whole thread but the first post here says it is sticky up to 4 hours when truck is turned off, then reverts.

Wonder if that explains the behavior @MDErnst and @WXman see.

Could be. I have to admit I haven't paid close attention to it to know if it only sticks temporarily or if it reverts back after 4+ hours off. I normally leave it in NORMAL mode.

I will try to remember to check this and report back.

On mine, a simple 4 minute walk into the gas station to grab a soda is all it takes. EVERY start of the truck reverts back to "Normal" drive mode.

The only time it really annoys me is when I'm towing. I would MUCH prefer that it stay in Tow/Haul mode until I select something different.
