Mine does the same thing of not staying latched. I have rec'd most OTA's, BC 1.4, etc. as well. I did not get 10.3.0. The last time my PCM was updated was last November when the dealer did some CSP's (Charge Cord Stuck, Front Parking Sensors).

Mike G posted that a PCM update became available in FDRS in March - I think that's the one we need. There has since been another one recently.

I'm currently on PCM software NL3A-14C204-BCZ as the latest from October.

In looking at my database of 100+ VINs, the PCM module version varies quite a bit based on year and trim. So this may be difficult to compile especially since so many folks don't divulge the model year and trim in their signature or Account Details.

I know mine is out of date and it's NL3A-14C204-BBV. I have 3 2023 Lariat SR's in my database, all have different F188 values: PL3A-14C204-FS, PL3A-14C204-FP, PL3A-14C204-ER.

Perhaps dumb question...how do I know if I have the 10.3.0 update. Is that something forscan will tell me?

FORScan will allow you to see what software strategy the modules in your truck is on, but it won't tell you if that's the latest version or if there is a pending update for the module or not.

@bmwhitetx Any cause for concern about needing to put the 12V on a charger while doing 3-4 mods?

Seem likes the Glare Free could take 10-20 minutes alone.

It shouldn't take more than a couple minutes. I haven't used a charger for any of the Forscan mods.

Will not be an issue. I typically use ACC mode and turn off the radio and HVAC just because they are distracting. But you could also do it with the truck on I suppose.

Take your time and make backups (they are very fast). One could do the glare free in under 5 minutes.

This isn't like FDRS where updates are done with the truck off and can take an hour or more.

I know it's been talked about before but hoping it can be revisited now that I've seen multiple people stating the 2025s stay in the last mode without the prompt, ie Sport mode, so hoping someone can figure out the Forscan combo

I only follow this forum and not Reddit, FB, etc. Haven't seen any 2025 folks here say that Sport or Tow mode stays enabled across starts - unless I missed it. I can help if they do. Any 2025's want to weigh in? @WXman @RLXXI

Been in Facebook groups. They went from a 2024 to 2025 so knew the difference and were surprised and thought it was a fluke at first that it held.

My previous 2025 PowerBoost Hybrid did not.

Color me confused.

My truck is a June 2025 build and it does NOT stay in the last mode selected. Very annoying.

Ironically, the heated steering wheel and seats DO stay in last mode selected, which NONE of my prior vehicles ever did, and I would prefer that those settings don't.

Lol I guess we call these "first world problems" right?
