Did you notice anything new or fun? My truck is currently touring the country.

Edit: Looks like it left the country according to FordPass…
I’m behind so I think you had this one before it went on tour. It’s the one that opens doors…FSD….full-self-dooring.

I don't have the slightest clue...

What I know is my truck was supposed to have Alexa. When it didn't show up, I removed it from my FordPass and redid the activation process. After I did that, I had the option to enable Alexa which also activated my streaming. By default the car now streams through Amazon Music - through the truck, not the phone.

I haven't actively installed any apps onto my truck that I know of. I usually just do wireless CarPlay and use either Spotify, Amazon Music, and Waze.
I seem to have the same issue with Alexa.. it shows pending activation on my account @ ford.com. as does streaming. I've been too lazy to try to fix it. I'm not sure why it got hung up maybe I'll try your "fix" tomorrow.

It might be because we activated the truck - or tried to - before we took delivery. Everything loaded fine after. So I’m sure you’ll be in the same situation. Bad news is..the trial starts from your delivery day.

Can someone confirm that the pro trucks don't have a rear window defrosting capabilities? Living in the cold Northeast I'm wondering if that is going to be a problem or not.

My work truck and old truck both don't have it, not an issue IMO. Heated mirrors is definitely something I'd be missing though, not sure if they have that or not.

I went ahead and got my Alexa working. Now my crazy truck answers to "ford" and
"alexa" . Ok... Alexa does play music easier I guess.

On another note... we will be ponying up the big bucks to be Model E Elite dealer. I doubt I'll ever need to use the charger but I will be glad we have them for the traveling crowd.

I think Ford MoCo is taking a low road by making the dealers put in the chargers, but it is past time they do something as a company to truly contribute to the charging infrastructure. I think the only more prolific than an auto dealership is 7-11 and CVS. Will be nice to have these chargers.

I..don’t remember. But I remembered a defrosting button on the center stack. So I think we do? Or they may have been for the mirrors.

I think it was a necessary evil to close the gap with Tesla. It doesn’t matter how good these trucks are, Teslas moat is still the charging network. It’s the final piece for ford to be an equal competing EV company.

I also don’t think it’s all that bad, it’s a heavy investment. But it does benefit the dealer by driving people to the dealer. Passive advertising.

@Ford Senior Master I picked up a set of OEM 20" wheels from a 2021 or 22 STX and the owner said the TPMS sensors are still in there. Will these trucks automatically learn the new addressing when I swap wheels and drive for a bit?

Will I need to get Forscan to recalibrate the speedometer? I'm going from the Pro tire size to the 275/60/20 so a little bigger overall diameter.

I think this was discussed a few pages ago but when I start the truck after having it in Sport driving mode I see a message in the instrument screen asking if I want to stay in Sport.

I enabled Alexa but not sure how to contact her! Use the steering wheel button of the talking head?
