✅ Ford Resumes Shipping NACS Charging Adapters (February 2025 batch)

Do you have a FedEx profile for package tracking to your address?
If, not sign up for it you might be surprised that it has been shipped, or if not shipped yet, it'll show when Ford get's to you. Ideally these should be sequential, but mistakes have been made in the past.

Before I had the chance to look at FedEx, the adapter showed up today!

Just received ours. Order number 91141.


I will say that the new Ford adapter built by Lectron is substantially higher quality build than the one from Brand-T. It has a very solid ABS shell with no hollow sounds when tapped.

The old A2Z adapter is also of substantially higher quality than the one from Brand-T. The new A2Z adapter has been shipped and I'll shortly be able to compare all four.

The Brand-T is snap-together, hollow sounding, and cheap plastic. The pins appear to be lower quality than on either of the other adapters. The latch mechanisms are junk and I expect them to fail fairly quickly.

The hypocrisy from Brand-T about forcing a recall of the A2Z Typhoon adapter is laid on pretty thick.

I will be gifting the Brand-T adapter to a buddy with a Kia.

Michigan? Ford web site has not been updated to shipped. FedEx says I have a package from Dearborn, I just assumed it was from Ford. I could br wrong ?
