4/26 blend date, 5/11 "shipped" date, picked up my PRO at Lamoille Valley Ford on Friday afternoon. What an amazing start to the holiday weekend! All I can say is wow. Perfect blend of tech and work truck. Averaging 2.9 mi/kWh over 200 miles on my daily driving around town roads, high temps in the 70s. The wife almost threw up the first time I put the pedal to the floor...

Ford was showing an update this morning on my order (the last update date) but when I chatted with them it was just the delivery at the railyard which I already knew about. They're holding steady at that 20th delivery date so we'll see. I'm optimistically expecting it to come a little early but not getting my hopes up. 2+ years of waiting already what's 2 more weeks.

Seems like the updates come through the Ford system at night. My delivery date just updated to 5/30-6/5. I could actually be taking her home this weekend if all goes well.

I feel like a damn kid on Christmas. Going to call the dealership after my AM meetings and see when I can go get her. Hopefully sooner than later, the anticipation is killing me now.

Went to the dealer and checked out the truck today, drove it, and filled out most of the paperwork today. They're going to process it, clean it up, and charge it up for me to pickup tomorrow. The avalanche color looks even better in person. Took the day off work to do the necessary run around before I pick it up tomorrow around lunch time.
They did try to upsell me on the warranty, bed liner, and ceramic coating. I definitely don't think I need the gaudy warranty he first showed me ($3k+), but I may consider one of the lower packages just to extend the coverage a little if anything - still on the fence on that. FWIW - He was adamant that the highest warranty covered the battery, and for whatever reason their packages do look a little different than Granger (albeit the pricing is comparable it seems).
I can line the bed later, still undecided on my plans with the bed (liner/cover/lid). I thought about the ceramic coating, which was $590 for interior/exterior/wheels through CNA National, but I want to do some research on that first I think. It's finally here! Only drove it about fifteen miles back from the dealership but just wow. This truck is amazing. I have someone coming to buy my old car in about an hour but I'm going to take her out for a bit after that and I'll follow up with some more first impressions.
