Hello, I use the pro power on my lightning on a fairly regular basis. It works except that the truck automatically shuts off every 15 minutes or so. I've tried everything I can think of to disable the automatic shut off, including going into the pro power app and changing the setting so it doesn't automatically power down, but it hasn't fixed the issue. I am wondering if anyone has a had a similar problem and can tell me what I am missing? Thanks.

From my failing memory. :)

If the current draw is less that 90 watts it will time out and shut down.

With my 2024 Platinum, just yesterday, I selected "keep Pro Power on with truck turned off", turned the truck off. I selected power to both front and rear areas , I connected and turned on my powered refrigerator in the truck bed and powered freezer in the front truck to precool them, and 1 hour later they are still being powered and down to the set temperatures.

If the idle usage is low it shuts down no matter what you tell it...

So if you have a fridge or something that cycles it may never turn back on sadly with how Ford implemented things

Yeah that low current shutoff pretty much defeats the purpose of the "pro power on while truck is off" feature, from what I've been reading here. If you actually want power to stay on you have to leave the truck on.

You have to put a load of atleast 90watts for the pro-power onboard to stay on. This is only for 2024 or newer. It's has an option on the MMI screen to stay ON while the truck is OFF.
