Sweet! I appreciate your help! I'll give that a shot. The IPMA would not affect you Activation.. My IPMA isnt even the one that came with the truck since I updated to 360 cam.
I would disconnect power to the TCU for a while or disconnect the battery. I was getting an error at first also then I left it over night and it was fine in the AM.
If you didnt change anything in terms of your vin you are fine. I have changed all kinds of things in my truck and those things will not have an affect.
The TCU plug is easy to get to if you fold the seat back down like youre getting to the jack. Peel the rear carpoet back and that is the TCU.. Just unplug it for the overnight and then plug it in the morning and try again.
I did not, to my knowledge, alter anything involving my VIN number. I was also very careful anytime I was in Forscan to make sure that I was making the changes that I intended to make and nothing else. Not saying it couldn't have happened, but I think it's fairly unlikely. The only reason I brought it up in this thread is because I was wondering if some change I had made maybe didn't play nice with the new update. I wanted to fix the issue with Forscan if possible, before bringing it in to the shop while I'm at work.
It is worth noting, not sure it matters, but connectivity was not lost immediately after updating anything in Forscan. It was literally lost immediately following the OTA update to 2.1.0.
